How do you find the 190? Assuming TSI and not TDI?

Trying to figure out if it would be enough compared to the 272. Obviously no AWD in this one.

Bought a 190 for the extra torque as I tow a 1500kg caravan, from first impression it's quick and very smooth and from what I'm used to quiet as well, obviously day to day got no clue and having a towbar fitted in 2 weeks time but from the many positive towing review that doesn't bother me. Just love the DSG but teaching my left leg not to do anything after 30 years of driving a manual is tricky!! Already gone for the clutch a couple of times today!!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

When I was a kid, I was asked to take the directors automatic jag down the road for some new tyres. It was lunch time and all the office girls were walking down the road.

I accelerated out the car park and went for the clutch just as I was overtaking them. The car came to a juddering halt with tyre smoke everywhere. An embarrassing lesson if there ever was one!

Anyway, liking the red on your new beastie (I wish mine was red), and I hope its got dcc as you'll need it for towing imho ๐Ÿ‘

I've got the 190 TSI. I tried the 272 as part of my search for a Superb. Of course you can tell the difference between 190 and 272 when you put your foot down hard. However, in regular driving, I'm quite happy with my 190. Moreover, because it's two wheel drive and not four, I'm able to avoid any possible Haldex problems in the future. Enjoy your new car.

Looks lovely - enjoy your new motor!

Very nice looking motor, and a colour that really suits it. ย Enjoy!
