130K miles yeti for sale, should I avoid?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Im looking at a couple of yetis, both are 2010 1.2TSI, and both have about 130,000 miles (210,000 km) on them. Would these hold up or should I avoid?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

You need to read up a bit on the early 1.2 TSI up to later on 2011 and the issue with timing chain and tensioner.

There was an upgrade and the cars might or might not have had this done.

I would be avoiding even if done, but you need to be looking at the service history, any parts replaced, and condition of the cars,

and then are they a bargain, or too much of a bargain.
