DTUK Pedal box part number help.

Featured Replies

Now the proud owner of a 2015 Vrs TDI, slippery slope of some mods has started and I'm on the lookout for a pedal box.

I've searched around a bit trying to identify the correct part numbers so I can snatch a second hand bargain off eBay/forums/marketplace

Can anyone that has one fitted to a Vrs mk3 confirm the correct part number from the side of the packaging ( After some investigation it seems like 10723712 identical to petrol or diesel is the one, but want to be sure)

Cheers

All the VAG vehicles from 2014 onwards have the same throttle connector

10423712 or 10723712 will both fit. I had the 10423712 on a 2016 vRS TDI 👍

The difference is that model number 10723712 has app control. App is no big advantage IMO for the pedal box - if the controller lives in the cubby by the drivers knee, it's probably quicker and safer if driving to adjust there than to unlock phone and open the app etc.

App for the tuning box is ideal as you don't have to open the bonnet.

Thanks you fellas. Exactly what I was after. I will begin my search.

Yeah, the app control would only be of advantage if you had a tuning box.

When you get the pedal box, you can easily route it into the little glovebox by your right knee for ease of hiding and controlling.

Quite often I drive with mine in eco / comfort which is the green light. I find that is the best for your daily driving. The sport mode (orange) does give you a bit more of an instant acceleration so is good for a razz. Sports + mode (red) I find to make the accelerator a bit severe. You so much as touch the accelerator and you're flung back in your seat.

Never found the + and - buttons to do much however.
