Hi everyone,

My 1.9 SDI Fabia has a brake fluid leak at the brake power regulator but I don't know if I need to change it or to repair it. It's a difficult job? I already replaced both front brake lines and I don't think that's a harder job than that.

 

I don't have ABS.

You need to change it, it sounds like an internal seal has failed, probably due to wear and tear and age.

The worst of it will be seized unions and rusty pipes. It's generally easier to bleed them through before you hook the spring on, but that varies from car to car.
