Yep - I know there's a search button and yep, I know this will have been covered a zillion times, but just after some further and up to date clarification.

 

1) I can fit any aftermarket bluetooth radio with the right faceplate adapter, but would need a quadlock and canbus adapter cable as without the canbus bit, power to the radio won't be controlled by the ignition key.

 

2) Fitting a radio from another Skoda such as Columbus or Bolero isn't going to be easy (or cheap) to get the Bluetooth working.

 

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good aftermarket quality unit with a built in mic?

NB: Mine is a Mk2 Roomster (2012).

I have a Pioneer F910-BT in my Smart that ticks the boxes - horrible to use compared to RNS315 though

After way to much reading, I bought myself an Amunsden+ to try and make things easier.

Good decision, hopefully one with a bluetooth address on the label not just a line of 0000's ?
