Engine warning light

Hi forum , tonight I started my car and the engine warning light stayed on and a message came up very fast saying something about brake assist. This message did not come up again but the warning light remained on.

I noticed now that I remember yesterday when just sitting in the car with out ignition on that the cars fan started and stopped twice for a very short duration. That seemed really odd as the car was off totally.

I have no engine decrease in power and my brakes feel the same as they did. The only other thing I noticed was the start stop was giving a message of power consumption too high and as a result wouldn't stop when the car did.

I will be contacting the dealer as its still has 2 months left of warranty. Is it safe to drive the car to the dealer or should I use road side assist to pick the car up if potential damage will occur if I drive.
