Hi all. Just a quick hello, and thanks for all the useful info on the forums.

I'll in all likelihood be ordering my Octavia 2.0 TDi Sport DSG in early June, probably wait for the 56 plate, might just be too excited & get it as soon as I can Need an exciting dad wagon, my 1.6 TDCi C-Max is boring me to tears!

Options I'm thinking of:

F+R parking sensors (got too used to them on my current car - lazy, I know!)

leather interior

Metallic - the Graphite Grey

Audience HU + 12 speaker upgrade

multi-funcion steering wheel

ESP

cruise control (again, got used to it on the current car, and should work well with the DSG in auto mode?)

Sunblind

Any other recommendations? Also, any feedback on dealers in the Essex area, especially Laser in Harlow? Gavin there seemed nice enough at the first meeting

I'll be sticking around, keeping an eye on info regarding aux leads for the Audience head unit so I can wire in my TomTom, and reading up on the chipping options for the TDi if the wife will let me

Anyway, thanks again all for the advice. Looks like a cool community on here, reminds me of my Mini days again - nice to be back among people who love their cars.
