Got any theories or resolutions?

Possibly do a firmware update/upgrade, see the relevant thread.

You do it entirely at your own risk. Get it wrong and you are looking at a big bill to replace the unit.

Good job I wear a watch then 🤣🤣🤣

Mine occasionally does it. It’s had a firmware/software (not sure which) update at the dealer but still does it. Going into the settings and turning the set time using gps off then back on fixes it so Ive never bothered doing anything else. Doesn’t seem to affect anything.

Will try that then, cheers 👍👍👍

Mine started doing this but only in these lockdown times where it only gets driven once a week.

You say it displays wrong time but you don't say how wrong that time is. Would I be right in saying it was 1hr out?

Just random times. It's happened a few times. It's not even bang on an hour, it's hours and minutes. Different on all occasions.

Weird. It's normally the case with any clock that receives it's signal via the airwaves to pick up the wrong information so stricly speaking, the clock tells the right time rather it's the information it's being fed that's wrong. The solution is, as per above, revert to setting the clock yourself rather than rely on other sources.  UK auto clocks are typically 1hr out as the signal they pickup was intended for mainland Europe, but if it's hours and minutes out then I'd be contacting my dealer.

Same thing happens on mine but the clock sorts itself out when I next turn on the ignition.  My son, who also has an Octavia, has exactly the same problem.  I wouldn't risk any kind of update as you don't know what won't work afterwards.

Yeah, will tell them.
