Audiotec Fisher help?

Featured Replies

Hi I have a 2014 Octavia vrs it came with a audiotec Fischer pp52dsp setup, that recently started not functioning properly and not outputting sound intermittently. The amp has power but does not always show its led indicator,I was wondering if anyone has any ideas to help me with this issue .I assume these systems are switched on via a Can signal? Any help would be much appreciated.

The amp is an aftermarket plug and play unit, all depends on how it was installed. If the screen isn't powering on or off then it's nothing to do with the vehicle's power supply.

Smart money says it's the amp itself that's faulty or it could be the specific harness lead used between the headunit ( which is in your glovebox ) and the amp that's at fault. If all the connections look secure then it's a visit to an Audiotech Fischer distributer or a new amp.  Why not contact Auditec Fisher and see what they have to say.

If it is a faulty unit then you can easily take it out the loop and use the orginal set up that came with the car.

Have you tried downloading the setup software and connect to the amp via PC?

Yes I've tried the software, I think the amp is OK and the mib unit is faulty, I've booked in at the service center to get it sorted. Thanks for your help

Ouch, that sounds more expensive than the amplifier ☹️

Interested to know the outcome.

Cheers,

Nick
