Bolero problem

Featured Replies

When trying to load a CD into the radio it wont load and just says ''Device error'' , Press CD button select which drive (1 to 6)  It doesn't pull the CD in ,Just nothing but the Device Error message on screen... I replaced the Stream head unit with the Bolero, I left the CD changer in the boot connected through the quad lock connector in the back of the Bolero, It powers up and loads CDs but wont play them (the interchanger in the boot)..should i have disconnected it or does it not matter?

There's probably a way of getting the cd boot changer to play, but I'm buggered if I can remember the trick to it. Something is nagging me in my brain, but I can't remember how it's done.

As regards the "Device error" message it sounds like the Bolero is faulty. Might just be the changer mechanism or it might be the electronics. I have a cd changer cartridge on the shelf here which I could sell you if you wanna try that.
