Hello, i just retrofited a columbus 9.2 mib2.5 (I had a Bolero), is it possible to show the map instead of directions  in maxidot?

I have the 9.2" Columbus in my Sportline Plus Superb and pretty sure the answer to your question is no unfortunately.

You require a digital dash for that.   But even if you could, it'd be a rather small map !!!  Must say I prefer the arrow and streetname to the map because that's all the info I need. If I want to look at a map then I look at the map on the infotainment screen.

Hello in Audi it is possible in the basic cluster.

 

OBD eleven Connect obdeleven to car (ignition on, don't start engine)
1) go to garage (obdeleven), tap on your
audi;
2) tap on Control Units;
3) tap on Information control unit 1 (5F)
4) tap on Adaptation;
5) scrol down and find Dashboard_
Display_Configuration and tap on it;
6) navigation_map_transmissoin_mode -
tap and change to MOST_streaming;
7) navigation_map_compression_mode -
tap and change to H264;
😎 navigation_map_ resolution - tap and
change to resolution_1;
9) confirm adaptation and restart MMI.

That's not the basic cluster on a Skoda - that's the virtual dash, and only the virtual dash has MOST.

Insn´t this is the virtual one? what are the diferences WHat is MOST ?

I think i now understant most is a fiber optic cable that conects directly to the cluster.
