Any chance you can say which years of DQ200's DSG's were having these 'Early Failures'?

?

Is this a relevant or current issue with DQ200's built this year or last?

There were the various issues, the World Wide Recall excluding Europe that got Service Campaign '34F7' which is to do with the Synthetic Oil. 2009-2012.

Then '34H5' for 2013-2015.  The Australian latest Recall now from 2009-2015/16.

The 'Famous DQ200 DSG Slipping Clutch from 2015 as featured in the Fabia Mk2 sections. There are TPI's, Uprated Clutches and Software Updates.

The issue some with the DQ200's & 1.5TSI's of the past 2 years. Again a Software Update.

I also noticed this feature on my MY19. I have attributed this to the Adaptive Cruise Control feature which is present on my car.

Regarding starting the engine by turning the steering wheel, it's all in the manual. Sometimes I use it.

As for start/stop, I learned to live with it. To be honest I always think that if I'd stay in a carpark next to the car and having to breathe the air, I would want the engine to be off as much as possible. Also, if you press the brakes very lightly, the engine will not stop.

We have two models in the family.  An SEL manual and my Sportline DSG with ACC.  Mine does have this feature when the car in front moves off but not noticed this on the manual.  I thought it was linked to the ACC.  But my ACC doesn't activate if the battery is low.  (long story).  But the car still started when the car in front moved, so must be linked to another system.  The auto park brake system that applies the brake of it thinks you are going to hit something maybe?

Linked to ACC radar.
