Wireless Android auto

Featured Replies

Buying a new Kodiaq with tha wireless charging pad, and I am looking for a way to enable Android auto wirelessly. There’s some dongle on the market but only for Apple car play.

Any other solution?

Solution is to buy new Octavia, Scala or Kamiq, which has MIB 3 headunits. Kodiaq has MIB 2,5.

No workaround either, been looking for a while.

MY21 Kodiaq gets wireless smartlink since they’ll have MIB3

Too bad, I’m Kodiaq will be the 2020 model...

Can’t understand why Apple car play can use a dongle but Android not.

The same reason OBD11 has only Android app - Apple geek designed one thing and Android geek another.

I don’t think so, there’s a bigger market for Android.

Maybe some technological constraint.
