Hi guys,

Do you know if it is possible to stop the ECO tips? I can't find it in the Settings. It would be best if the gear change display can be stopped too but I guess I'm asking too much

Gear change recommendation i believe you cannot stop. Just ignore it! The car doesnt know what is going on it front of you or whats ahead. I am sure eco tips can be turned off as I added to my settings on my Octavia 3. Have you looked in car menu?

You can. I turned mine off.

Just fiddle with the settings a bit more. You will find them.

I don't remember right now where I found it, but the option is there. You need to uncheck it.

 

I turned it off the second day 😄😄

No more annoying messages on the virtual cockpit.

Then there's another one in the Assistance system's settings somewhere.

Thx -I found the one you are referring to -  but it disables only the eco tips. - I have done this, but the one I was thinking, which disables the warnings to get the foot off the accelerator is not here. I did some digging and found it in, assist systems/all assistance systems/eco assist.

I used to get the nagging eco tip to turn stop/ start on in my Kodiaq, and never even crossed my mind to look for a setting to turn it off till I read this.

First thing I did was look to turn this off. I like a bit of fresh air now and then just opening the window a little. Cue various eco messages, please close window for economy or the like! No car I will open the window when I like thank you 🤗

Perfect - thanks ever so - these were killing me with the pano roof open.
