Constant rear washer blockage resolved

Featured Replies

I've had enough of the rear washer blocking on my hatchback so i have come up with a solution.

I drilled the holes out slightly larger in the brass to allow more water through and to hopefully stop it blocking so easily.

Much better now and i have the added bonus of soaking cyclists when i go past.

Have the same problem on mine and have to keep sticking a pin into the holes to clear them.  How did you manage to get the fitting off the car and what size drill bit did you use?

Hi the cover just lifts up and the small piece i'm holding comes off with a light pull.

I used  a 1mm drill bit.

Just out of interest, if you are in a hard water area then the nossles will have a tendeancy to fur up more readily than soft water areas.  I suggest that maybe more concentrated screenwash or descalent

Thats a good idea!  :D  I will do that next time my block up.
