if one has a smart watch/fitbit etc which connects to your smart phone via bluetooth. can one still also connect a set of bt headphones to wear at the same time?

Mine can yes as the smart watch registers itself on Bluetooth as an 'input device'.  Not sure if others do the same though...

 

For reference it's a Microwear L9.
