Given mixed driving, what fuel consumption is reasonable to expect? Currently about 35/36mpg.

It’s a 16V (59kw?) manual.

It's a little low unless you're thrashing it or using it mainly for short journeys.

Try changing the CTS and the spark plugs, then the pre-cat lambda probe.

Yep, should be a chunk better. I get 42 on almost exclusively 5 mile each way suburban commutes. 55kW manual.

Thanks, CTS changed a month back and initially it ran smoother but seems back to ‘usual’. Will look at the lambda 👍

A year old. Car’s actually well looked after for an oldie (13yrs) but different garages can’t find anything (nothing on the diagnostics).
