Hi, I test drove a 2015my superb the other day and I am really convinced that I want it. Due to my budget and my need to have have the extra safety/comfort features, I am resided to having a car most would consider high mileage (80k+ or 120k miles). I will be going for SE-L with the added options or the L&K non-4x4 2.0 Tdi (150ps) DSG and most likely hatchback.

 

With that in mind, I would like to understand common issues that can occur with a car of that age. Chances are battery issues (some superbs)  / trim issues (door trim / glove box) would be resolved by now. Looking for people who have had a long term experience with these.

 

Does the DSG still go strong after that many miles?

Things I should be checking for in the used car specific to the superb?

Potential don't touch / find another vehicle

 

Any tips or pointers are much appreciated.
