I have Superb Combi 2020 and want to buy the roof bars.

 

What is the proper size for Thule Roof Bars, e.g. Wingbar Evo: https://www.thule.com/de-de/roof-rack/roof-racks-and-accessories/thule-wingbar-evo-118-_-711220
There are different sizes, starting from 108, ending 150 cm.

 

Which one should I buy? 118? 127?

I have the aero bars for my combi. I do remember not buying the one that came up on the configurator but going for the next size up to give me more flexibility. I cant remember what size they were and am away from home at the moment so cannot measure them. The advantage of going slightly wider if I remember was that they would fit a bigger car like the tiguan.

I wish I’d researched a bit more when I bought the set for my mk2 superb (127) as I’ve recently looked the mk3 I’m getting and they quote 135. I knew I would need new foot kit at around £45 but could do without another £100 for some “slightly” longer bars.... guess I’ll be selling them on eBay as well then!!

My Atera bars, bought for my mk11, are about 122cm long plus about 3cm for the end plastic fittings. They work perfectly on my mk111.

Okay, I ordered 118 and they fit just perfect. Topic closed.
