Octavia upgrades

Featured Replies

Hi I own an Octavia mk3 and I want to make it as much as similar to the vrs version.
any ideas? maybe someone did it here.
 thank you

Easiest and cheapest way is to sell it and buy a vRS ;)

It depends in what way you want it to be like a vRS though. Obvious options:

- exterior styling (front/rear bumpers, spoiler, alloys etc)

- interior styling (seats, steering wheel etc)

- remap, suspension and brake upgrades to 'match' vRS performance

trust me if it would be cheap as in other countries you would have seen me driving vrs already lol

where do I get all of these?

A breakers or scrap yard with a few crashed vRS' would be the cheapest place for the interior/exterior parts and suspension/brakes. You can also check eBay and similar?

A dealer could sell you new parts but I'd expect this to be very very expensive.

A remap would need doing by a decent local tuner.

An idea to say which country you are in, and what the actual Mk3 Octavia is that you are starting out with.

I have a bilstien b12 kit and a remap on my 2.0 TDI elegance. It's as fast if not faster than my mates standard vrs TDI but not as comfy as it doesn't have independent rear suspension.
