Please can someone help me..... I can’t find out why my EML is on.... I am unable to connect to he ECU. The ECU has been changed. The Kline has been checked for continuity. I can read everything else except the ECU. Any ideas ?

Could you connect to the original ECU, before the change? Part numbers of old and new ECUs?

Hi I was unable to connect to the existing ECU so that’s why I changed it out after testing the Kline. Part numbers of both old and new ECU’s 038 906 019 NF. Car runs perfectly

I guess you mean that the K line continuity has been checked all the way between engine ECU and diagnostic socket?

Yes.... even run a separate wire to prove

On the OBD socket:

Do you have +12v on pin 16 (Bottom right) ?

Do you have continuity between pin 4 and 5 (Both top center ones) and any other pin ?

Do you have continuity between pin 4 and 5 and the battery negative terminal.
