Had a bit of bad news re: retrofitting a camera to my Scout. Had a call from Chris (who is the guy who is retrofitting Cameras to a number of Skodas down in Leeds) to say that Skoda have pulled ALL of the part numbers for retrofitting reversing cameras to 2019/20 MY19/MY20 Octavia and Superb cars.

 

It seems that there have been issues with coding up the cameras to the cars. 

 

Whether this is a batch problem or not, I don't know. The general consensus is that Skoda may or may not re-introduce the official retrofitting kits....or they may not.

 

Which leaves me in an odd place....I would really love to retrofit a camera (we call it Reversing Telly in our household 😁) to my Scout, so I would really like some options. I know there are third party kits out there (I might speak with @SashaGrace
to see whether she can advise.

 

I have an MY19 Octavia 3 FL Scout.

I can do you a genuine one. Can get them in easy enough. You can use any VW handle in the right size and add the relevant dataset. Drop me a pm if you want a camera. Can squeeze you in anytime
