Big ladder :D

Essential work journeys?

It's ok though, they'll do some massive discounts to get them sold....

Waiting....

i would love to see just a big 50gallon drum with all the car keys in it. no reg tags on them, just all the keys together :D

but that gave me an idea....

just separate the keys out into different barrels based on size and fuel type, with descriptions of whats what

so all the hatchback diesels are together in a barrel, all the electrics etc.

then you open it up as a treasure hunt. pay lets say, 10k for a hatchback diesel key, then you rummage in the barrel blindfolded and pick one. if you can then find that car in the storage facility you keep it :)

you get the type of car you wanted, cheap, but mightnt be the spec or model you expected.

I think used sales will be up

My mother picked up a used car yesterday and the salesman said in a normal month they would be jumping for joy at 40 sales, however this month they were already passed 80 sales :o

since i thought of that, i just a vision of some lad going in, paying 18k for a "midsize saloon petrol" key. hoping for a vrs 245 and being at the gate on the way out in a base spec 1litre focus saloon :D

Standard runway length is 6000ft

Average car width is 6.5ft

So that means you could park 923 cars in a line side-by-side on a runway (but leaving no space between them).

Assume you leave a 1ft gap on each side of each car (so 2ft) that takes it to 705 cars.

12 rows of cars = 8460 cars.

Average keyfob weight is 3.8 ounces so in total there's 32,148oz of keyfobs, which is 2009lb. Or 911kg.

That's a lot of keyfobs.

You've obviously not taken into account that most cars have either 2 or 3 fobs so the total weight could be anywhere between 1,822kg and 2,733kg! ;)

Good point well made!

In my defence I've only counted one runway and not all the additional parking spaces (or other runway).
