I'm interested to buy this a roomster 2007 1.4 petrol ( 56 reg ) but the one I'm looking at is at plus 70000 with no record of a cam belt change. The seller said  he thinks the car has a chain not belt. I can't seem to find if it's belt or chain driven. Does anyone know? Thanks. 

I think if it is definitely a 1.4l petrol it is belt driven.

Can see 1.2s and 1.6s with chains, but not 1.4s.

Thanks for the reply and link. I now have my eye on a 1.6 petrol, also 2007. Which seems to be chain driven looking at your link which I would prefer.
