Featured Replies

hi all, just after a bit of advice.can i fit xenons to my fabia vrs??

Bulbs or Lighting units ?

im guessing to fit xenons you are going to need a new pair of headlamps to accomodate the bulbs and ignitors and then if the system is like any other i have looked at you are aslo going to need sensors on you suspesion to work out wthere your going uphill down hill round a corner accelerating etc etc so that you dont blind the people in front. but in theor it can be done

Would you bother though ? I would get some uprated Xenon gas incandecent bulbs for the Main beam & Full beam. There's lots of advice on this subject in the search engine.

i agree with johnnyboy i would just buy some bulbas that look like xenos, it would save you hundreds of pounds in parts and labour. and nowadys there are a lot of uprated bulbls that light to similar standards as xenons obviously yiou will never get the same affect............you could aslo look into projector headlights these will be cheaper and use normal bulbs and need no fancy elctronics to go with them

Is there not a bit of a legality issue with some of these Xenon bulbs ? I heard they're not actually approved for use in the UK ?

For a retro-fit kit, you don't need to legally put in all the self-levelling sensors, although you might find not doing so makes you very unpopular with oncoming drivers!

I'd personally opt for some Osram Silverstars for dipped beam and Philips Rallye's for main beam (both available from www.powerbulbs.com  )
