manner of the young. This is especially the case if I should happen to overtake them first (which does happen) It never happened with my Yeti.

I’ve quoted you in a different way but I’m guessing it’s because the Yeti isn’t quite as eager looking a car so calms down both the driver and wannabe racer onlookers. The Fabia potentially looks faster too which could well attract bored junior Hamilton’s who are at a loss for things to do when the pubs are shut?

At the minute tuning ANY sort of car is one of the few things you can still do, so for a younger (or older) guy who is working they have nothing to spend their cash on; no all night raves, no stag do's, no away day football match, etc.. I literally had no money for cars in my twenties. It was full on partying... The tuning shop near me is absolutely mowed out with work.  I bet it's the same everywhere. The amount of cars I hear now with cherry bomb blowback exhausts on a sunny day is beyond ridiculous.

The old drive Yetis, the young drive Fabias, - simples!

Drivers of non Skoda think that both are driven by older people and in the main are not wrong.

At 67 years of age, I rarely get overtaken in my Yeti...

I now tow a Dandy Designer Camper but my Monte Carlo Estate 110 tdi is the same 110 as my Yeti were (yes Yeti is plural)

It does make me smile when it pulls away from lights (briskly of course)

Surprisingly it is about 50/50, they are often driving two tone hatchbacks and drive well.

Occasionally I like to use  my 110 tsi  dsg Fabia in sport  mode while listening  to Deep Purple ;then I revert back to normal 30 mph in drive mode listening to Classic FM. I'm 62.
