Hello folks

Hello folks, just introducing myself to you all. I live in Penicuik Scotland, and recently purchased a 65 plate Skoda Rapid Spaceback 1.4 tdi se tech Quartz Grey.

Former hackney driver in Glasgow for a mere 35 years lol. My mate was a private hire with a Skoda VRS diesel, and have always fancied buying a Skoda car.

Do not do that much driving nowadays, and bought the spaceback for its compact size. Really enjoy driving this car, and suits me fine. Had loads of different cars over the years, a mere 36 in total. Enjoy tinkering with bits n bobs on cars, but not too technical. Done a couple of addons so far, fitted a full set of Heko wind deflectors and have a set of mud flaps on order. Thinking of buying a obd 11 reader to enable speedo sweep and rear drl lights.

First grump about the spaceback is the awkward problem of access to headlight bulbs, not having the smallest hands have not been able to upgrade the bulbs to better vision types. Gonny have to go thru to Glasgow and pester one of my mates to help lol. Will post some updates regarding progress. Take care everyone.
