Does anyone have, or ever had this thing where the boot opens and closes super quick, over and over ... for 5-10 seconds?  Its random and is doing it on its own.  I was thinking maybe a fuse?   

 

When I say quick, I mean .5 sec. intervals.  Open / Close / Open / Close etc ... for sometimes 5 up to 30 times.  

 

Two things to note:  The first time I parked my car outside and also I used the remote warmer.  (last night it was about 5 C)

 

Hadn't happened to me before today.

Have you changed the bulbs in the trunk for led ones?

Hi Gabriel - had to laugh at that because yes, I changed the bulbs in the whole car to LED (including the trunk/boot). 

 

What do I need to do to remedy the situation?

It happened to me with the soffits of the trunk that come mounted.  They gave me the same failure when turning on the parasol light ... I removed those ceiling lights and put some Auxito bulbs from Aliexpress and I no longer have errors and it lights more powerful.

open the roof of the trunk and put auxito of Aliexpress, they are expensive but very powerful and do not give fault.

Funny you say that ... I had some LED's I bought here in Switzerland for 20 bucks a piece in there, and had no problems.  

 

I purchased some more LED's from Ali Express and changed them because they are brighter, and then this happened.  Who knows!

 

I will keep monitoring it and if I need to, I will change back to the expensive LED's that are less powerful.  Maybe it was just a one

time thing because it hasn't happened to me since that day.

i have no errors and my bulbs are completely different
