Installing Cruise Control in petrol

How do you do, hope you are well, today I am trying to install cruise control on my BKY engine fabia I have supplied a picture of the stalk I have purchased any help is appreciated

Try pulling the cubby right out/off. I think if you push it sideways you can pop one side off at the hinge, then the other.  Looks like the design of the plastic stuff changed after that thread; probably with the 2004 facelift.

 

 

Actually easier way. I see a VCDS cable there. Plug it in, go to module 09, see what part number it says it is.

That loom is about as much use as a chocolate teapot, isn't correct for a Fabia.

And to install cruise you need to take the dash panels down.

The site I have purchased it from said it would work with fabia

Ask them how when it only has one plug on it. That's a proper loom.

So the stalk is correct? It is advertised for “Cruise Control System Switch FOR VW Golf 4 MK4 Bora Passat B5 For Audi A2 A3 A6 TT Skoda Octavia Fabia Seat 8L0 953 513 J”

Stalk will be right, but the loom is different for the Fabia compared to the others on that list.
