Couple Issues

Featured Replies

Hello All

First is a sound that is an ongoing issue is a buzzing noise on the right side of the car. It buzzes even when sound is off and  windows or rolled up/down. It’s constant.

Second, today  when I was driving the car felt a bit off. When I arrived home and shut it down I could hear a fan running near the front/engine. I think the DPF must have been running but this is my first diesel. Did I do something really bad by shutting off during a DPF burn? What should I do now?

I'm obviously pretty much a novice when it comes to cars and car problems so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've also noticed a noise when removing the key from the ignition after shutting off. It's coming from the engine area and it's like a couple clicks and a whirring noise. Not sure if this is normal but I've just now noticed it after 8 months of driving.

Thanks in advance!

Yes sounds normal.

You can also here similar sounds when you first unlock / open the car and when you turn the ignition on.

Buzzing noise might be a fuel pump?

Thanks, AG Falco

it’s more of an electric buzzing coming from the right side of the car.

My Fabia is noisy after a run and the cooling water continues to circulate as it cools down.

Yours is a similar car?
