I’ve got 20” diamond cut alloys on my Kodiaq. They are prone to kerb damage I’m informed in fact I know they are.

Has anyone fitted any rim protectors to this type of wheel eg Rimsavers?
Is so are they any good? Are there alternatives and I don’t mean keep away from kerbs?

Also is it possible to get a smart repair done to a slight scuff on a wheel? Most repairers want to refurbish the whole wheel for a small superficial scuff less than 2”.

i wouldn't bother with the other products. Alloygators work surprisingly well. car simply bounces off kerbs. an experienced installer is essential. alternatively, get a tyre with inbuilt rim-protection (sidewall bulge). i'll report back once i've tried Michelin PS 4

Rimsavers is a good product I have used both of these and honestly they do a good job at protecting the alloys. The rimsavers has the advantage of being a bit  cheaper DIY job . You can't go wrong with either.
