can anyone recommend a good engine oil for a 2013 2.0tdi 170bhp 4x4 dsg i am finding it a bit difficult to find the right one, i am looking for a (fully synthetic 5w30  low saps 507.00) but the oils i am finding seem to be mid saps and i was under the impression i would be better putting a (low saps oil) in not a mid saps ?

any advice lads!

Hi Kev, take a look at Fuchs Titan range of 5W30s

Motul and Total also do a low saps fully synthetic 5w30 

Just came into my head randomly, but i think Averoil may have been a factory supplier at one stage or may still be for VAG vehicles.

Low SAPS is required to avoid killing the DPF prematurely with oil ash.
