Has anyone else experienced this? 

Every bump I go over I hear this thing rattling around, it is driving me crazy

Something rattles in mine, but I'm not 100% sure what. I did discover that the flap can sit behind the seat instead of on top - I think that helped 

Oh yes, drove me mad too in my first Superb. I eventually discovered that it was the rearmost section of the cover (the bit with the handhold) flapping about - fixed by carefully bending the crossbar piece into a very slight arch shape.

Yes. I padded the rear shelf that the cover sits on with anti rattle foam. There’s a good chance it’s the rear seat though and not the shelf. If you pull the seat forward and “adjust” the the striker downwards, slightly, with a hammer, it will seat the latch tightly enough to stop the rattle.

I think it is the parcel shelf because if I remove it from the car then the rattle stops. I will try these suggestions and see how I get on. It is my only with the car tbh!
