Hello Wino

Again thanks for your help tho as I say, going in circles, it is a CCZA engine but those schematics you have sent have 8 different part numbers/drive belts for cars with A/C 😩

Im none the wiser I’m afraid

The 'data model' column has lists of engine codes against each part number. Are you viewing on a phone where that column isn't visible?

Third row from the bottom reads:

06J 260 849 D poly-v-belt 21,36X1117MM 1 CDAA,CDAB
CCZA

Hello and many Thanks Wino- at last someone who knows what they are talking about!

That part number you sent put me on the right track so I’ve ordered a Gates PK113 auxiliary belt for my 2010 CCZA model with AC.

Tis a minefield!!

Yes I’ve been going boss eyed using the phone, it does indeed clip info until you press info.I imagine a desktop would be better laid out.

Thank you very much,You are a Legend.

No problem. I guess you meant to type 6PK1113?

Oops yes it’s a Gates 6PK113 v belt needed and ordered for my CCZA model 2010 Octavia Vrs Estate Tfsi

Thank you Wino and I hope that helps anyone in future

I've replaced mine once. That ribbed belt profile sounds familiar.  You should be right therer.

Eurocarparts part lookups are not great. EBay only really good if you know the aftermarket or genuine part number. I often use a good aftermarket catalogue which often cross reference to genuine part numbers and sometimes other mfr equivalents...

Hello and thanks for adding your info.

Yes,Wino had sent me reference on 2 occasions using a site called 7 Zap. Com-

A very detailed parts catalogue, a useful site i never heard of before so Thanks for that

Yes. I am aware of the site it is based on the ETKA listings and schematics. The only thing I have found it is quite out of date with revisions, so you will not find the latest product suffix where there are recent revisions.  But it is useful.

Some after market catalogues are also very good. Bosch used to be decent but since the took it offline to "improve it" I can't find where the detail is any more.

The 113 on the belt is the length in cm. and 6 pk means 6 ribs.  Having checked, mine was a febi 28924 but there is heaps of cross compatibility, continental, gates et al....

It's actually 1113, length in mm. OEM one is 1117mm as shown in ETKA.  Close enough to be sure.

Yes, you're right. either way it will fit within that tolerance as the tensioner would take it up anyway!
