nah, itll only get locked when 50% of the posts are actually about your mpc using your wife's hrm on her stepper ;)

Something is seriously wrong with your HR figures, I believe that you are +/- 55 years old, your max heart rate would be 165.

 

You should be exercising at a minimum of 83bpm even if its the first time in years, over a short period of 30 minutes if you are in reasonable health it should be pushing 140bpm, that is the average not the peak, your average of IIRC 68 bpm is completely implausible especially with the calories that are supposed to have been consumed.

 

 

If you are as fit as you claim then you would have no problems exceeding that for short periods, my MHR is 159 and I can maintain an average of 169 over 1hr 20 mins when exercising with a maximum of 185, if I can connect to the file of the screenshot I will upload it.

Final instalment finished my personal challenge on day 13 with my target of 320km reached in 14 hours 12 minutes. Didn’t intend to break any records just bored watching TV and needed something to do. Back to work soon Thank God.

So that was around 14 mph.

 

On a e-bike outside i do between 12-15 MPH, and on a push bike 8 mph average.

That has me with a max heart beat in around 117-127  and an average below 90.

I think tension setting 4 which is the midway point between 1 too easy and 8 too hard feels like you are climbing up a gradual incline rather than cycling on a flat piece of road. Did a hard 10 minute session this morning covering 4.3km which is the same time the bus did from our Hotel in Cyprus to Pafos Bus station which is the same distance including stops. It takes 50 minutes to walk that distance for comparison which we did many times. Anyway 32 days off work plus 100km walked and 320km cycled so I must be fitter than a month ago.
