With regards to the km/m issue it is the Sat Nav units that are the problem. Speed is shown in mph.

ahh ok, and yeah ive not had that issue with satnav, odd how some do and some dont

Went to the dealer yesterday because of the recall. It took them 2,5 hours. The only thing that I noticed was that now if I press steering wheel heating button on it, it doesn’t activate the clima menu on the main screen. Still having problems with wireless CarPlay - it keeps restarting infotainment system 1-2 times a day at random moments. Extremely annoying issue. Otherwise I am very satisfied with Octavia mk4.

My car has been in today and I haven't noticed amy differences. Apparently there were 15 updates available and my model needed 14 of them! The Dealer has contacted Skoda about the km issue in the Sat Nav.

How many staff in how many dealerships are there saying they are contacting Skoda CZ?

 

Skoda CZ know exactly what the state of the software was as the cars came off the production line.

I've been speaking with someone from their UK office and their tech team are aware of the km/miles issue. I've also posted a youtube clip on another thread that shows one of their review cars showing the km problem. Frankly i just want them to get it sorted.

 

I notice there's a version of the digital cockpit which has a clock in the top centre which isn't selectable in mine. I'm guessing there's a new version of software out there which hasn't been downloaded everywhere

with the clock this is true when i had the dealers car for a few days (20 plate) it never had the clock, but mine (70 plate) does and seems the same for others, but youd think they the same with them having updates, odd!!??

After my updates last week have been for the first long journey ... High beam assist, which was supposed to have been fixed isn't. Blinds everyone intermittently. Have also notice that lane assist is worse and again intermittently works at best. Unreliable. Beginning to despair.
