Hi, I have octavia 3 fl 2.0tdi (110kw) 4x4 equipped with dsg. I would like to ask about stage 3. Has anyone done it? If so how much power you can make? Also what do you need interms of upgrades? I found a intake, exhaust a downpipe but no bigger turbo

Darkside developments did it with a golf.. the head design is very restrictive aparently so even with 10k worth of work and mods they were still only getting 270-280bhp...

it would be cheaper to do a bi-tdi conversion...

Thats plenty for me, I was hopping for something like 250. You mean like bi turbo conversion?

i have a stage 3, mostly DSD parts, fuel pump, turbo, DPF delete, downpipe and twin exhaust was already done. sitting at around 260, i struggle not to spin the wheels as the torque is nearly too much for a big heavy front wheel drive, might be better on a 4x4, i had my tune done locally. the max you can get for your 10K is around 280 due to the fixed design of the head.

i eat 320s for breakfast and can keep up with a 330 until about 80 or so.

As said earlier these engines by design are not good for tuning. If it is big power you are after, you would be better selling that car and getting an Audi 3.0tdi0 which have 240bhp as standard. They map to about 280+bhp at stage 1. To even to get 250bhp it will be a new turbo charger, downpipe, exhaust fuel pump. Easily 4k to get that done. Mine is the std 184 VRS and is plenty quick enough as standard.  Not to mention if your car is on pcp or hp is a no go. Id try a simple stage 1 map as that should give about 210bhp (despite what tuners say. The std turbo is only good for 210bhp).
