Power steering light, ABS light and Braking System lights all on

Featured Replies

Hello

When I was driving to work on Tuesday, the engine management was flashing along and the power steering light came on. I was told afterwards that the alternator belt had gone. I have paid for a new belt and had to pay for a new tensioner pulley as well in the garage. When I picked up the car yesterday, the ABS light and the Power Steering light were still on along with a flashing engine management light. I have also noticed that the speedometer is not working and the fuel gauge is fluctuating.

I did disconnect the battery to reset the ECU earlier today but the same lights are still on on the dashboard. I've also noticed that I don't have a reversing light either.

Possibly some wiring damage due to flailing belt as it broke?

Is it possible to fix the wires or would I need to have a new alternator as well?

Measure battery voltage before and after starting engine.

Fault code sweep to see what the DTCs are.

I'm taking it to the garage tomorrow morning and hopefully they can check the codes
