I have the SEL First Edition. I do not have the Full Matrix Headlights, but can you switch main beam to Auto with the standard LED's? The handbook suggest that you activate in Headlight settings, but I do not appear to have that option...?

 

I will be a bit surprised if not an option as I had it on my 2014 Elegance spec Octavia, where it was simply a matter of pushing the LHS stalk and with the amount of sensors on the new car I would have thought it would be a standard feature?

 

If someone could confirm whether I should have this function or not and if so, how I get it to work, I would be grateful!

Thank you. Do you have to spec the full Matrix lights to get this feature now?

 

In fairness, not a serious issue to not have it as old the last car it did have a habit of switching off at the most inopportune moments i.e. as you were going through a bend, because the lights were reflecting back off a sign

tbh theres mixed answered to your question as different dealers telling customers mixed answers so im not sure lol
