Hi,

My 1.9 tdi has had the bulb fault light come on   been around every bulb and removed cleaned and refitted , the LHS fog light does not come on but I'm assuming this is how it is supposed to be . Is there any type of scanner you can use so I can at least see what bulb is throwing up the fault ?

I use the Carista app to tell me which bulb has failed. This is very small part of this app, which can do much more.

Only the driver's side fog light is lit on VAG cars to avoid confusion with brake lights.

I second pikpilot suggestion of carista. The basic version is free which should show what bulb has blown. 

You need a carista compatible reader though.
