Find Original Spec + Optional Extras?

Featured Replies

I'm wondering if there is a way to find out what the original spec of a car is (including any additional added options)?

Yes. You need what's called the "car data". Several page pdf file showing the full specification it was built to.

Cooperative dealer may do it for free from reg or VIN or you can download it yourself via erwin Skoda for under a tenner.

send me the reg and an email address and i may be able to get you a spec sheet for it :D

You can do a reg search on Parkers for some basic info, possibly including the trim level.

If you already know what trim you have, Parkers usually details every option for every trim.

Search example: https://www.parkers.co.uk/skoda/octavia/hatchback-1998/19-tdi-pd-laurin-klement-(130bhp)-5d/specs/

Trim example (select from drop-down): https://www.parkers.co.uk/skoda/octavia/hatchback-1998/used-review/practicality/
