Fuse Box engine bay

Featured Replies

Hi this is the Fuse Box in my  Engine bay of 2008  1.4 Petrol  in a lot of Topic i see ash the silver relay is numbered 100 and mine is 370

also i have a  different fuse layout to others.

My question is it ok to have the 370 instead of 100 and am i missing fuses or they in the wrong place.

Any help is much appreciated

Kind Regards

Brian

I'll add one more question. Some boxes do have just a plain metal insert in the bottom relay position, like on mine. Seems to be an original vw part. Any idea what does it do?

Is there any problem with the car?

Different engines, different options, there will be many variants of fusebox contents. If everything works, leave it alone.

It connects what would be connected by a relay if there was one in that position and it was energised.  :)

Wino thanks I have the question badly worded, I mean what the relay in this slot does. 🙂

Dunno. Something that your car with its particular engine type and options package doesn't need.

Hi Wino

All good but just wondering as i see different Engine fuse boxes layout

Yeah, there will be dozens and dozens of variations. Unless someone has exactly the same model from the same month of manufacture with same engine and all the same options it's difficult to know what the exact layout should look like.  If you have no reason to think it's been messed with, it's almost certainly correct.
