Hi can anyone help. My boot sounds like it is full of crockery! Every time I hit a bump I get this load sound as though I have loads of plates stacked. I have removed the tyre and anything else that may make a noise. I wedged the boot lid and put some cloth over the stops yet this has not helped. It has only just started and rather quite sudden!

 

Any ideas?

I think I would be having a look under the car. My first check would be a broken coil spring. Our roads are terrible and coils are know to break.

Exhaust heat shield rattling or exhaust rattling off underside of body ?

Turned out to be rear off side spring. All done at local garage for £90 all in and all is nice and quiet again.
