Retractable tow bar

Featured Replies

Does anyone have a diagram of the pull cables on the retractable tow bar ?  I purchased the car knowing the car was hit in the N/S/R , a few weeks later and now the tow bar will not operate, had a look and found damage round cable holder which has been poorly repaired, I think this has now caused the cables to stretch so I'm after the pull cables and the holder, if anyone knows where I can purchase these parts from it would be much appreciate.
Tried Skoda and was told they don't do them parts :crying:

Sorry, no, but you could look at erwin, costs aren't horrific for short term access.

Not good that a retractable tow bar costing around £750 that uses cables and bolt on parts ,then you are told that you can't buy cables which are damaged or any other part other than the electrics, it's like saying I bought a push bike costing £750 but can't buy new brake cables.
