Does anyone else’s infotainment system crash on quite a regular basis?

 

Ive not even done 500 miles and the amount of software glitches and car errors that have came up is crazy!  It’s an SE first edition, does anyone know how to power it down without turning the car off?  Power button doesn’t do it.

 

I really hope they are working to update the firmware on the car.

if you read through forum you will see different threads regarding this, also to power down press and hold the power button for a few secs screen will turn off and bk on

Looks just to be people saying the same thing, but no fix from Skoda currently?  And links to Golfs having issues but VW recalling them?

yepp seems so, hopefully will be us fixed next

450k km done. Got it to freeze once when coming to car after apple carplay was connected. Long press shutdown option helped. But i had -18 celcius all morning so maybe related. 

but i have encauntered another issue: when you go to car, after previously having apple carplay and spotify playing - it connects auto but there is no sound on spotify. You need to manually go to radio, sound appears and switch back to spotify - then everything is fine 🤷🏻‍♂️

 A bit annoying but oh well. I hope update will fix it.

Just checked - I have 1666 and no pending updates (waited for 15mins in screen "checking updates" but no new ones were on).

You will never find an update this way!

Under “info” minor updates might come up, but for mainframe software you need to go to Skoda.

Just found a strange glitch:

 

AppleCar / Spotify:

 

If I’d like to change from any music to archive radio podcasts (streaming) it instantly freezes.

 

Did it again and again, same result.. 

 

How?!
