Dog Guard and Hatchbag

Featured Replies

Our Greyhound  totally trashed the back of my previous car (simply by being a mucky dog), I'm determined to minimise the damage.  So has anyone recommendations for a dog guard and has anyone fitted a Hatchbag boot protector to the Mk 4?  They're available for the Mk 3, but don't have one specific for the Mk4.

Thanks

I should add I’ve a 1.5 SEL first edition estate.

I have a full bootliner similar to hatchbag which I bought for my mk3 and it was bespoke for that. Since then I've used it in a kodiaq and a Leon estate and in both cases it did the job perfectly well and if you didn't know you'd not think it wasn't bespoke. I'm picking up a mk4 so I'll let you know how well it fits in there, I'm hoping it will be near enough perfect.

Thanks for the info.  Will be good to know how it fits in the Mk4.

I think the MK3 and 4 are very similar

Here you go - mk 3 liner fits mk4 pretty much exactly.

Thankyou for sending the photo. What brand is the liner?

I looked it up and I bought it from Titan covers in 2014.

Thanks.  I emailed Titan, they are planning to get one for the mk4 by May, which is when they will be able to template the vehicle.  COVID has slowed down the process apparently.
