Hello all,

I ordered mine last week, Quartz grey, with some options, including Canton, there was no chance to test Canton at dealer since they did not had octavia with that sound system, since then I have been trying to find decent review online, I have not succeeded yet, I guess I will have to wait and see.

I am located in Riga, Latvia, dealer told me 3-6months I will have to wait.

Hi Janis, there’s a few of us waiting. ☹️
I started a thread on Canton so if you do find anything out, drop it onto that thread / topic. Any links to reviews or first hand experience would be most welcome.
quartz grey is a cracking colour, had my Mk3 in it. 👍🏼

Conversely, I’m a little disappointed that there’ll be no 4x4 badge on the boot of the Mk4. I liked that little point of difference on the Mk3, but it was subtle.

Just put kodiaq 4x4 same style badge on mine   Looks very smart

I've never understood de-badging mainstream motors, whether it's to give a "clean" look (which is a matter of personal opinion),  or to hide a performance model or not.

A trend popularised by BMW drivers.  A neighbour has a 3 Series dressed with all their M series bodykit and wheels, a lovely metallic blue.  Looks good, but then Parker's shows it's a  318i, actually 1.5 petrol, less powerful and slower than my  Karoq.  Which makes it naff.

my opinion is same as yours @FlyingGeckoit is extremely stupid to put fake things on regular car, BWM owners like to make their regular beemers look like M cars.

That being said I asked dealer to remove all lettering on the back, that way it looks cleaner, i left RS only.

I think its personal preference, no point to argue

Hi janis, exactly, it's personal preference. The world would be a poorer place if we all liked the same thing.  There's a saying over here, variety is the spice of life.   I bet you'll have something similar in Latvia.

oh yes, every e36/e46 M badging is a must, even if bumpers are regular, i would never understand that,
