Replacing Skoda Citigo 2015 4 door Fuel flap

Featured Replies

My Fuel Flap has broken away from the plastic hinge.

I can try and expoxy it back to the hinge and wonder if anyone has done this or has a way to solve it.

If I find a complete replacement, how do I get the old fuel flap mechanism / flap and hinge out ?

I've seen this before, either on this site, on the Up! owners club site. Try a search.

If it were me, I'd probably try epoxy, but also with stainless screws or pins drilled and screwed in, which you can fill (the holes) and touch up afterwards...

Worth a shot, before getting bits from a breaker....?

I glued mine back on after knocking it off in a petrol station. Can't remember what I used but it lasted well over a year until I part exchanged the car, I was very careful opening the flap after the repair.
