yep and thats why i'mnot doing it!

My dealer (Merritts) offered me a free wintercheck (just checking, no replacing, topping up, etc). Took them 45 minutes and the result: no need to do anything... Guess it keeps the guys in the workshop off the streets ;)

Actually, 45 minutes seems a fair time for a "check-up"..

I usually get the car serviced at this time anyway saving me from needing all these winter checks. Service INSP flashed up today....

just matter of interest.

How much is a normal service on a skoda? Who's got the highest bill here haha?

Something to look forward to when i get my fabby..... not

The service indicator display will give you advance warning of when a service is due. Depernding on the type of driving your car is subjected to, that service could be at 20,000 miles/2 years - whichever comes the sooner.

thanks for that. I guess if I would have had the option when buying the car, i would have oppted for fixed length servicing.

No problem. When the car gets to 10,000 miles/1 year, put it in for a service and ask for it to be reset for fixed service intervals.
