Thermostat help

Featured Replies

Hi, been reading about temp not getting up correctly on Superb 2.0 Diesel DSG 2011. I've looked on eBay for a DSG thermostat, tried to confirm with supplier what type I need and am being told I need the following part ( please see image), is my car fitted with a combination thermostat set up or has it got a separate DSG one?

Any help and part numbers would really be appreciated

Thanks for any forthcoming help

I have the same issue with mine. Not got round the changing it yet as it’s not bothering me too much. I believe (from the good people on here) that it looks like this abs is about £15-25 depending on where you shop. This is for a 2013.

To @HobBoskins - The "DSG"-Thermostat is this one, in the post of @Gremlin170 :) The "OEM"-Part Number is: "1K0121113A".

Thanks

Will update once I've fitted the new part

cheers

It’s definitely the one in @Gremlin170post. I followed instructions on here to change mine a few years back. Find my old post, plus plenty of others some very good guides on here.
